BBA Acquires Alberta's Power System Asset Management Solutions (PSAMS)
Vancouver, May 17, 2019 – BBA is proud to announce its acquisition of Power System Asset Management Solutions (PSAMS), in a transaction that was finalized in Calgary on April 8. In recent years, BBA has seen substantial growth in Western Canada thanks to trusted client relationships and a number of key hires. The PSAMS acquisition bolsters BBA’s offering with a full range of advanced electrical testing and analysis services for industrial companies and utilities.

“PSAMS enhances BBA’s existing field services offer with its state-of-the-art expertise in advanced electrical testing and diagnostics,” says Christophe Desage, Executive Director, Western Canada Operations, BBA. “We continue to diversify in Western Canada by offering these practical services to industrial clients across the country. Being present on site, together we develop an in-depth understanding of their facilities, which has enabled us to become partners of choice,” he adds.
BBA is honoured to have PSAMS founder Dr. Prodipto Ghosh join its ranks as well. Dr. Ghosh is a renowned expert in high-voltage electrical equipment failure analysis and in analyzing risks associated with transformers, switchgear and cabling systems.

About 20 PSAMS employees officially joined the BBA team on April 22. The transition from PSAMS to BBA activities continues and will be formally integrated into BBA’s Field Services division.
