BBA is setting up its first talent centre in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, bringing the firm closer to many highly qualified potential employees who live in the region.

On May 2, Julia Gartley, BBA Team Leader, Mineral Processing, and Board member, received the Canadian Young Mining Leaders Award from CIM-Bedford. Bestowed by the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM), this award recognizes outstanding achievements of some of Canada’s most promising mining leaders.

Serving industrial companies with human factors engineering

At a time where women are still under-represented in the profession, a group of BBA women engineers have created the Osmosis Network, an internal group that focuses on synergy to advance women’s talent and stimulate conversations around gender diversity.

BBA is pleased to welcome Tatiana Guerrero to its team as Director – Power System Studies.

BBA has signed a multi-year procurement agreement with Artemis Project, an organization that aims to accelerate business outcomes for women entrepreneurs in the mining and metals industry.

To further support the development of these opportunities and to manage the firm’s operations in Santiago, BBA is announcing the appointment of Benoit Richard, an experienced leader, as director of the Santiago office.
